To solve the problem of hospital queues during COVID-19, this project takes The Second Hospital, University South China as an example, clarifies outpatient process under epidemic through on-site research and data analysis, collects waiting time service patients at each stage, builds its simulation model based on Discrete Event System (DES) theory, discovers experiments, bottlenecks limiting efficiency were identified, a improvement plan was proposed optimization.
